PARCC Specific Resources

These are PARCC specific resources that may come in handy as you plan lessons around incorporating technology. Links are provided to the PARCC approved tutorials.

In spring 2014, the PARCC Field Test will be administered to over 1 million students across PARCC states.  This site contains resources to access training modules on gaining familiarity with the computer based test tools and features that will appear on the PARCC assessments.

These tutorial videos show how to use simulations, objects and lines, constructed response, and multiple choice.  They require FLASH.

This document has a lot of technical specifications not necessary for teachers to worry about, but does offer some insights into tool availability for students based on question type.  See page 7.

This site gives specific examples by grade level of what types of tech skills students will need with pop up examples of questions.
